I moved to Bellingham 38 years from the Midwest and have loved the beauty, mild temperatures, and interesting mix of people. I have raised four kids here, and recommend the safety, schools, and community feel of Whatcom County. We love to ride bikes on the incredible trails, float on my air mattress on Lake Padden in the summer, sample all the great restaurants, and go to the fun theater productions at Western Washington University and the Theatre Guild. My wife, Chris, attended WWU and teaches middle school students here.
